How We Doing?!

I want to continue to position our town as a desirable destination for families and residents who will want to live in Weymouth. Our town and sense of community is on the rise!

Sustainable growth that keeps the tax rates the lowest on the South Shore. Projects that protect our town history and character as well as water and power supplies!

I’m running because I want YOU to have a say in all that has happened and is about to happen. There’s a lot going on.

All contributions are invested to meet our shared goals.
In 2025, Mayor Hedlund awarded me the Key to the City of Weymouth for my “fierce advocacy on behalf of all Weymouth Citizens!"
In 2016, I was awarded a Town Citation for conceptualizing, managing and administering WEYFEST. Over 200 citizen volunteers stood together to kick start Mayor Hedlunds vision of reviving the sense of town pride and community that Mayor Molisse has been advancing!

Event creation and management at Radio City Music Hall, Boston City Hall Plaza, World Trade Center, and Union Point are additional marketing, promotional, and sales successes.

I have managed and represented the NE Patriots, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, and Boston College sports in both radio and television broadcast sponsorship sales breaking category and market records for performance for all listed at CBS Television Boston, Fox Sports, WEEI, WBCN, WRKO and more.

Havlicek/Genesis Fund .

To recognize and honor the critical role the Mass General Hospital for Children played in our family’s health history I wrote and sing a tribute song titled
"Christmas in Boston”
Cause related fundraising was my original inspiration for getting involved.
Our song ended up being played on over thirty (30) radio stations
throughout New England, being recognized by both Mayor Tom Menino
and Marty Walsh, being invited to open up the City of Boston’s Christmas
Tree Lighting Ceremony on Boston Common three (3) times in the past 20
years, played live in studio with Dale Dorman and played on WRKO! All funds from CD sales and performances have been donated to our friends at MGH for Children!
Mayor Tom Menino recognized my efforts via a proclamation from the
City of Boston!

This Spring Mayor Bob Hedlund sprung a sneak attack on our
unsuspecting neighbors by renaming Hingham Bay the “Gulf of
Weymouth”!
Union Brew House co-owner, Ray Jennings and local good guy Jason
Thayer joined the fun by printing t-shirts based on the Mayor’s now
famous scribble on an existing map.
The sales of the shirts have raised upwards of $8,500 of which the proceeds went directly to construct the Fitzgibbon Memorial on Libby field.
I enlisted in the takeover militia and wrote the movements marching
song, “Hingham Bay”. It’s been a blast to be a small part of this groups
success.
WRKO's Howie Carr has been drafted too.
During the course of Bob Hedlund’s entire term as Mayor of Weymouth I had the
privilege of being the volunteer co/host and Citizen Advocate of the "Ask the Mayor" program on
WETC. The singular intent of the show was to present pertinent information about town affairs
in an informative and entertaining way – INFOTAINMENT.
Weymouth citizens would submit questions about every and any issue or problem they
had with the Mayor’s office or any town related subject. Under the direction of WETC’s Mary
Heinrichs, both Bob and I enjoyed plenty of good-natured ribbing from Executive Producer and
creative master mind Jeff Cummings. Together the four of us combined to address the variety and
peculiarities that are involved with representing 60,000 citizens with good intent and good
nature.
ATM was modelled after channel 38's vintage classic "Ask The Manager." Original "Ask The Manager" co-host, Dana Hersey, visited Town Hall to share in the fun.
Ask the Mayor visited every issue of significance for in depth review. It’s why I’ll hit
the ground running as your Councilor at Large.

The median Residential home purchase buy-in is close to $700K.
Weymouth currently has the lowest tax rate on the South Shore.
To attract new families and residents and serve the current resident base
we need to continue Town Hall’s plan to increase the Quality of Life.
The quantitative review involves a plan that’s centered on the physical
construction and redevelopment of every town square and park; repaving of our roads.
Providing great services: DPW to Weymouth Rec…Police, Fire, EMS…education and
administration.
The qualitative portion involves creating the sense of community: strong library
and school systems, arts and concert series, establishment of an event office, a firmer
commitment to youth programs and sport while enhancing the already involved senior
citizen opportunities, services and support.
Combined and done right together they have delivered a Quality of Life
to Weymouth residents that is commensurate with the investment that we’ve all
made in choosing to reside here. We want to live here!
Let’s continue to support Mayor Molisse, Ted Langill, and welcome TJ Lacey to the Executive Team as they review and value every dollar spent on behalf of each citizen as they enhance the sense of town Pride and Community that Mayor Hedlund has revived.
Parks, squares, schools, libraries, events, concerts, the momentum has been
building and the base as always been here!

Our neighbors in this community are eager to join the family and deserve to be welcomed. They have endured the shared struggle regarding this project's progress.
This project was planned to be an opportunity for our friends and neighbors in organized labor to get on and stay on the job. The original Project Labor Agreement (PLA) needs to be revisited.
What an adventure! On the campaign trail I’ve met everyone from...
We’re the third oldest community in the country, the birthplace of arguably the most significant first lady in presidential history, and the home of more Medal of Honor winners than any town in America! If you start here in our town you can go anywhere, do anything... and accomplish EVERYTHING!
I’m one of seven children from East Weymouth and a Weymouth North
High school graduate. I’m the son of a mother who volunteered at Weymouth
Food Pantry and a father who was President of IBEW Local 369 for my entire
upbringing. I'm the father of two daughters.
I’ve owned a home and raised my family since 1998 in South Weymouth.
I had my first Denley's Pizza at 13 and my last one last night, and a Caruso family
member served almost every one🍕
I want YOU to have a stronger voice as to the future direction of our beloved
Town.
The job of councilor is to fight for and represent the residents. I’ve been doing
this unofficially for all my life.
I have a keen awareness and depth of knowledge on most every issue large and
small courtesy of Ask the Mayor. I was specifically honored with the title of
“Citizen Advocate” by former Mayor Bob Hedlund for the past 10 years.
I have existing relationships with most of the Town’s current elected and
appointed officials. I’ll hit the ground running. I’ll stand by you. I’ll stand for you.
When we visit I’ll commit to starting every visit with this phrase”; “How we
doing?”
I’m asking all of you personally and directly: “Let’s make it official.” I request the honor of your support. Please cast your vote for Jim Melody Counselor at Large this November 4th.
